I have posted this link about a year ago - yep, it has been a US serviceman taking all those pictures and he is still having his website:

very interesting homepage with lots of pictures, even famous Thai music from those days and movies of servicemen back in 1966/1967. Airmen, bars and of course bargirls. Have a look at the past. I find it very interesting to see, what has changed since and what not.

It makes me feel sad. I see all of these beautiful girls and wish for them that they had more of an objective in life than sending money home to Mum and Dad. I guess when they got pregnant, they went home for a while to have a kid, left it with Mum, went back to the game until they got to old and the girl could take over.
