Bernake has written extensively on the Great Depression. It isn't a done deed yet he still has to be approved by the US Senate..

Dump him. The federal reserve fell asleep regulating the banks. They are too slow to change and essentially sold themselves out while fighting over which banks they would get to regulate. They were fighting with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and other regulators. They also need smarter people examining the banks....Wall Street people, but of course this means being able to pay them Wall Street salaries + bonus

He's not as niave as Greenspan was.....lolol.
