Am quite sad, my gf of one year has just been caught out cheating, with 7 other guys. She had been planning to come to NZ and use me to get her visa before starting with a new guy she had been talking with there in NZ, according to her chats.. so Im quite upset about that. She is still here, and I cannot get her to leave.. so I dont know what to do.

How can he not get her to leave? A call to the local police will take care of that. Unless she's on the lease or mortgage it's his property and he has every right to tell the police she's trespassing.

Sorry, I don't have much sympathy for gals who get caught juggling too many guys. Tell him to kick her to the curb and move on with his life.

Oh, tell your friend to shoot the other guy(s) emails and give them a warning.

Tell him to see if he can find out the other guys contact details and let them know, but also to be a bit careful how he deals with her, some women completely lose the plot when they are about to have their meal ticket taken away - understandable in a way, but still...can be dangerous...

@Lollipop: I find that things start to become messy when you allow yourself to become overwhelmed with emotion or sympathy in a situation like that. Not that I mean that he shouldn't feel gutted but that's not a good emotion to deal with a situation like this in.

Just think it through, the relationship is over. There is no real "excuse" she can cook up that will somehow make his feelings about her sleeping around with 7 guys and just using him for a visa go away. So, end it. Do it as cleanly and permanently as possible. And do it with as little emotion as possible.

The quicker she is out of his life the quicker he can grieve and eventually get over it. Sure it's "cruel" to her but it's also cruel to him to drag it out any longer than needs be.

We're not talking about two people where it's just not working out. People heading in different directions in life. She's scamming him. She deserves to be treated exactly in the manner in which she has been treating him.
