What is happening with Mel Gibson?  Is he crazy or something...

He seems to hate everybody and why he give so much money to the woman he yelled at?

Yep, he's crazy.... in a way.

I think the woman is also to blame... She's a golddigger and a schemer. She knew exactly what she was doing to make him crazy on the phone and then recorded him as revenge.

The last bit of news I heard was that her teeth weren't really damaged by him, but were crowns she removed herself. She said he punched her in the mouth and broke 2 of her teeth.... but the photos show he managed to knocked out two of her teeth without cutting her lip or gums at all.

Theres also rumor that the tapes that were revealed were altered. I'm no expert but some experts are saying this.

IMHO I listened to them, her voice is really clear and his sounds like something similiar to a sound board conversation as if someone has patched together his replies. If your not familiar with soundboards Youtube has plenty of them.. it's where people take pieces of voice quotes and piece them together to make crazy replies in prank phone calls.. to pizza shops and businesses. I could be wrong but the conversation all sounds edited to me.

Oh the voice difference is easy to explain... he was on the phone and she was sitting next to the microphone.

But his big issue is the racist stuff he says... I don't know how he will get past that in the US... Old white guys can't say '******' and 'kyke' and expect no fallout....

Too early to call it any sort of trend but several celebs have come out in his support. Whoopi Goldberg said she's known him for years and can't believe he's a racist:

“I don’t like what he did here, but I know Mel and I know he’s not a racist … I have had a long friendship with Mel, I just wanna make this really clear … You can say he’s being a bonehead but I can’t sit and say that he’s a racist having spent time with him in my house with my kids, I can’t say it.”

Jamie Foxx and Robert DeNiro have also come out and sort of defended him and offered support.

I don't think the guy is crazy, per se, but he obviously has a tendency to fly off the handle and say some stupid stuff. And who knows what the circumstances are behind the phone calls. If she was planning on recording these and extorting him for money should could have even planted the seeds for some of his racist rants.

For instance, what if she had goaded him several times about wanting to get gang banged by a bunch of black guys? What if she even used the word "n*ggers" when talking about it? All she has to do is wind him up into a frenzy and record what he says. She's already planted the seeds for a racist remark that she can use against him.

I don't know. I'm not defending the guy or anything but what's been in the press so far seems like a very premeditated attempt to humiliate him and destroy his career. I'm just saying that I wouldn't be surprised if as the story unfolds we find out she's far from being an angel herself.

It is kind of odd that we can laugh at Ari Gold's sexist, homophobic, racist rants and everybody acts shocked when Mel Gibson says something not even close.
