Alligators are pretty fast on land. Up to 8 or 9 miles per hour. On one hand I'm amazed at the brass balls on that cat but who are all of these idiots sitting around just filming the cat? Better yet, they're walking within close striking distance and letting their children walk around with alligators prowling about.

So... ONE cat sees off TWO huge alligators and then decides NOT to maul the child to death. Great animals.

(I think the people filming and giggling are dog owners... The cat owners are probably at work in a hospital for sick children or something.)
