Mum and I kept some good old tradition - we did some christmas bakery this afternoon. We have done some really yummy cookies - cinnamon stars.

4 egg white, 250 grounded almonds, 250 g powder sugar and 8 g of fresh grounded cinnamon. 2 hours later:

They are indeed. If you are lucky I will bring along some freshly baked in March..

@Kus - the recipe is from a german cook book from 1850..quite old. And I have never seen them elsewhere..
