Love is an untamed force. When we try to control it, it destroys us. When we try to imprison it, it enslaves us. When we try to understand it, it leaves us feeling lost and confused

It's quite clear: Falling in love is an emotion. So we cannot put it aside or try to neglect it. If we do so, there will be some psychological consequences, which are not good at all. Controlling it is also difficult or impossible but we can learn how to live with it, once it is unanswered.

Thing is that "Falling in love" is a very different thing to "love". First, you fall in love and only if it develops, the real love will evolve. So don't mix up the two of them! Mostly, people "fallen in love" think that their feelings are "love" but NO, it isn't!

"Fallen in love" is an emotion where you do not see te things in your partner that would be described as faults, deficiencies and so on. Love means to know them, to accept them and to live with them despite it would embarrass you once shown by other people. "Love" is to be with your partner unconditionally (except (s)he is exploiting you for that), to accept his/her good and also not so good sides and always give a big smile towards his (her) deficiencies, even more to help to overcome these deficiencies once (s)he sees them by him-/herself and if not, to be patient enough to live with them.

This is just my "Two Cents" for this topic but try to prove me wrong ;)
