I use Yahoo. I used it first and it was ok and met people from around the world in Yahoo chat before I ended up on Thailandfriends which is full of people from around the world but a more condenced colection of really cool folks so I don;t wonder far now from TF Been about 6 years now online chatting. Not so much anymore but nice to have Friends *S*

How long have you been using chat programs and what was the 1st chat program you used?

I started when i was in 2nd years Uni. and it was IRC( Pirch) that i 1st used.

You were first person who i chat with. :D

Well, i know i get my ass kicked for what i say, but it's ok.

Most likely I have everyone beat. I got my first computer in 1984 (genuine IBM PC) and chatted using CompuServe, so that's 21 years. My first PC had just two floppy drives, 128k of ram, and a 128k modem (you could almost type faster than the text displayed). And that computer, along with a yellow monochrome monitor and NO printer, cost me US$5,000 back then! Thankfully, times change!

it was back in '94 .. on school UNIX where u have to type some command to see who's online and /talk to chat with them.

at home i had macintosh 95MHz, 8 MB ram.. and it was top of the line!

jeez.. i'm old.. don't make me mention my first computer with the 'latest' 286 CPU i got in my 10th grade..

OMG you got your first computer the year I was born hahaha! :shock:

I've always been a late bloomer...I started when I was 16 so just 5 years ago. :shock:
