It's only been a couple of days or so since we passed 25,000 members, and we now have about 150 more. None of them have caused the riot that some people do. I think if 2 or 3 new members in 1,000 need to be slapped about a bit, then that is a pretty fair ratio and we can't be accused of being mean to new members. Not all do, of course, but some. I'm not talking about he 1st journals that simply say "hi, I'm new here" ...those are generally met with open arms and well-wishing from the masses....I'm talking about the "hey everybody look at me and how spectacularily wonderful I am" or the "hey everybody, look at my "insert random body part" isn't that the most shocking thing you have ever seen?" type posts. Do these characters deserve a little leeway(sp)? Should we back off because they're new? or should we jump all over em, stomp them till the cry 'mommy', with the hopes that only the strong will survive? It seems to me that when you join a group....and you really have no clue about the existing dynamics of that group, you should tread lightly, learn the ropes, slowly initiate yourself into the fold, and THEN stand up and say "look how wonderful I am and how shocking I can be" ps...discuss without names.... Stinkyboots or is she a duplicate of someone else?Strange as duplicate profiles are forbidden right? :? Maybe moderator Zeus should act over this issue.Of course ,completely forgot,moderators are immune from fair play,especially when the chick in question happens to be his girlfriend .oops :wink: that issue has been beat to death, resolved, and all but forgotten....not to mention it's nowhere near on topic.....so....sell it somewhere else..ok? sure but easy on the brown nosing.Servility is a very unbecoming trait. sure but easy on the cheap shots. backstabbing is a very unbecoming trait. and you have the gall to talk about 'fair play'.
