Question

Hello people,

you know in Thailand beautiful areas at which one must look absolutely. My first holiday in Thailand was very short, only two weeks. I have nevertheless done much. I have looked at the surroundings of Pattaya with a motor-cycle first. After it I was in Surin and in the surroundings of the town for four days and was very enthusiastic about the nature and the people there. In April I come to Thailand for three weeks and still more want to see beautiful positions of Thailand. I would be very grateful for a good tip.

I can also recommend Railay bay and Ao nang beach at Krabi, very beautiful and undamaged from the tsunami. Also don't forget to do a trip by boat to some awesome islands like poda-, tub-, bamboo - and phi-phi - islands where you also can snorkle.

On the other hand you can make a trip to kanchanaburi to the river Kwai or further to Chiang Mai

Thanks for so many good tips. I also will make the boat trip on the River Kwai, haven't made it the last time.

Judging from your reaction I take it you never liked the comments that S_Plutonium made, I found it funny nonetheless. Don't take things too seriously

Anyway, beautiful places in Thailand, for me I enjoyed going to Ayutthaya, it might not be beautiful in terms of natural beauty but it's historical, you can easliy arrange a day trip from Bangkok to Ayutthaya and the same trip might include a trip to the Royal Palace (Bang Pa-In Palace).

Already mentioned is Wat Po and the Royal Palace are also places worth visiting.

Chiang Mai is also beautiful, I've been told by friends, I haven't been to Chiang Mai personally though so I can't comment.

You have the islands: Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Koh Phangan all have beautiful beaches and Koih Tao offering some great scuba/snorkeling as well.

Talking about Koh Chang I read in a magazine that it's beautiful and not that developed and worth a visit if you want to get away from it all.

Lastly, I'd advise to book now as April is a very busy time in Thailand.

before you get off calling anyone an idiot , speak english you humourless ****....

....positions ?

...... I dont have for it you are so promitive expected ?

I'm sure on many planets your form of cumminication is very effective....sadly , this is "Earth"

(p.s ...english isn't my first language either)

but mostly I want to say "get the freaking carrot out your bum and get a life/and or ...sense of humour" .....if that's too long and containing too many words in extent of 1 syllable for you to understand.....instead may I offer "piss off"

It will be hot in April, but if you visit the north you can escape the heat in the mountains a bit. Around Chiang Mai you can visit Doi Suthep and Doi Inthanon (Thailand's highest mountain) - which are good day trips from Chiang Mai. In the city Wat Phrasing and Wat Chedi Luang are probably my favorites.

A day trip to Lamphun is also nice. And if you have time, you can make the route to Pai and Mae Hong Son.
