Why do farang expats look down their noses at farang tourists for going to bars and chasing girls when in 99% of cases this is exactly what they came to Thailand for in the first place.

I want answers.

also, i think we should make a distinction in general.

when people think of 'racists' they think of hitler, david dukes, etc. people who choose to be systematically against a particular race.

however, pretty much anyone is capable of making a racist remark (and i'm not even gonna touch on tasteless jokes). it does not necessarily indicate malicious intent, just ignorance.

sadly, people usually defend these remarks rather than trying to understand why it pissed someone off. it's understandable too, given the connotations of the word 'racist'.
