Loburt
The food on Thai Airways consistently sucks. Even Myanmar Air has better food, and they're broke.
khun_lung
Ummmm...don't ask me about British Air food since I'm American and these days have no need to fly on British Air. When I do fly it's on Northwest and if it's a lucky flight, they might pass out sandwiches for a snack that are actually pretty tasty.
Princess
Singapore airlines was failry good but my favourite is still Emirates. The economy class food is good - business class is fantastic. They also have one of the best lounge's I've been in - with good food of course I don't like Thai airways at all - the very first time I flew with them, my flight was delayed for 4 hours. Then we were packed into a plane and unloaded again due to some technical problem - the food was ok but even Phuket Air served a better meal when I flew BKK-Phuket. tilaceer
Bibimbap on Asiana was good...nice Kimchi.... Beer on Qantas is always warm. Singapore good Thai bad American Airlines, not bad in economy...superb in 1st class. British, ok Cathay was good Such a marked difference between economy and business on most airlines, but you pay for it Did I mention warm beer on Qantas ????? Better poll is, what is the worst airport to have to travel through ????? Hands Down LAX <------ The worst
GoldMember
Within Europe i like Air France's 'Cityjet' subsiduary.Food is amazingly good whatever class u fly and 'flying blue' has fairly decent lounges. To/within Far east ...use SQ.either class fine for regional travel.Long haul though, unless in Raffles class(or a midget),tis grim

Dave40
I would rather hope the airline spent more money on maintenance of the aircraft than trying to serve the best meal, after all no point having a fantastic meal if you have to use the life saving jackets.Which I hope I never have to do. Kayle
I only fly emirates to london, so I never experience other ailines' food. So far I think the food I have from Emirates is good. I can eat it.
chumpae
Also vote for emirates , good service , friendly crew , good sitting places , not so small . At last place for me LTU germany , and Royal Brunai ! Miserable service , small places to sitt. But sometimes cheap , so for small people OK. See also my other topic in forum about the airplanes . Also can say , the food in the air is not the thame as in restaurant . When you like better make a trip by ship .

Loburt
On my last transPacific fight I took United Airlines. I tend to think the bad airline food on really longs flights contributes to a worse case of jet lag. So, I brought lots of food with me - fresh fruit, salad, etc. I had just eaten a salad when the stewardesses started serving dinner. The aroma of cooked chicken was a bit tempting, but I was full. So I asked a stewardess if they could save one for me to eat a little later if I still wanted it. She said: "Honey, in a half hour you aren't gonna want to eat this. In a half hour, this won't be food. You wouldn't believe what it turns into. All that food you brought? You're doing the right thing. We bring our own food too." chocolateLady
my favorite airlines is SQ. great service and very active. TG is the final on my list. I remember after went back from Pitsanulok province by 747, the aircraft bumped as pick up car went to the hill and rough street for 10 mins while Mr. captian did not annouce any thing. Do i scare ? no, just wonder why captain did nothing !!! he might vommit at his room or naughty with the flight attendants ( gal or gay???) 8) But if you try low cost airlines  +Tiger Airs : if you come late , staff is ready to close the door at your face, I saw it while i went back frm SIN - BKK +Thai Air Asia :  airlines from hell, the gibbon, airhostess, keep walking and talking phony and especially if have alot young man passenger, thoes gibbons will walk for flirting as a h...k....r on board  till you feel griddy. cos thier hip bump your head as they want your brain out

Dominique355
My absolute favorite is Singapore Airlines. I had the chance to fly 1st Class Zurich - Melbourne and back. Sensational! About my own national carrier, SWISS, I have very mixed feelings. I flew once Zurich - BKK. The food was a joke (in Business Class): just a small bowl of some cold spaghetti, one (1) glass of wine and that's it. Nothing to drink anymore for the whole night. And the entertainment system did not work. My last flight to BKK was with Thai. I booked a flight on a Wednesday and when I got the tickets, I saw that the plane was an MD 11. These seats are just impossible for me (183 cm), so I changed the ticket to fly on Thursday. They promised it would be an Airbis A340. Guess what! It was again an MD11! No explanation, no excuse ... but a perfect service. The flight back home finally in a A340, but ... entertainment system did not work. Another airline I can recommend is Malaysia Airline. And a stop-over in KL is always a good thing.
