love is?

Love is patient, love is kind.

It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

It is not rude, it is not self-seeking.

It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth.

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails.

Taken from the Bible

I Corinthians 13:4-8

t847,

You are correct for sure.

babybarbiebangkok,

That was very good. You may have found a calling in life?

John,

I hear ya brother.

Love is looking into a childs eyes

or up above at beautiful skies

The gentle patting of an unborns heart

being with her, not being apart.

Love is many things, but still the same

it has no ending and has no shame

Just listen closely to every sound

and you will find love always around.

Well - if love is stupid then "stupid is what stupid does"

Forest Grump I think

"We've got this gift of love, but love is like a precious plant. You can't just accept it and leave it in the cupboard or just think it's going to get on by itself. You've got to keep watering it. You've got to really look after it and nurture it".

"Love is when it takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like

someone, and a day to love someone but a lifetime to forget someone".

Anybody got any thai quotes on "Love is" - in English please as I haven't mastered the Thai language yet :)

The clinical answer: The ability to feel emotions, the most important of which is LOVE, is that which separates us from the animals.

Other view: LOVE is like a flower in that even throughout its withering death, there is enough ethereal beauty that we return to inhale its fragrance once again.

I have no idea what that means, but it sounds deep...

One date and then a request for diamond earrings...and BBBBK has me falling off into deep love already! Don't we wish it was all that easy. :P

I thought of a second part for the clinical view (mentioned above):

The ability to feel emotions, the most important of which is LOVE, is that which separates us from the animals...

...but then again, it is LOVE that makes us act the most like animals! :P
