shortyg
Ever woken up after a heavy night and it all comes back to you and you think nooooooooooooo I can't believe I done that. A few months ago, I had been on a family visit came back to work worse for wear and had a big fight with my boss about some of the stuff I thought was going wrong in the business . I woke up next to a half eaten kebab and thinking oh no I am gonna be sacked when I go in to work. When I went in to work my boss walked up to me and said, "thanks Sean I enjoyed that argument last night I like people who work for me to be honest, lets have a meeting later and go through how we can change things" So it ended up ok this time What are your hangover regrets

thaibel
I once came back from a party and was pretty drunk. I started the pc and signed in on a website, called 'Thailandfriends'. I'm addicted now to both, TF and the booze. 8)
babyoiy
wake up next to a guy I dearly admire.. but cant remember what had happen last night or how I got in his place when he didnt go out with me. I really afraid to ask him what I did, said, but still I have to ask how I got here and I don't feel comfortable with the way he look at me and ask "can't you remember at all?" At first time I laughed but when it came to 2nd, 3rd, I cant laugh anymore. Once I was saying with myself before going to (his) bed, "this is stupid", nopz! I dont remember untill he told me.. and I cant give him any good answer what I meant to say.

Ammy
Hahaha I have quite a few great ones and cant be bothered feeling ashame to tell the world now... One time, i puked inside a car of a guy i was just starting to date for a few weeks after a wine tasting... Not gonna tell what kind of foods i had in the party either! and it went all over even on the ceiling of his car! He had to clean it up and surprisingly enough he still contacted me after that night!!! Unfortunately, after a while he has become a person that i have to deal business with and having meetings with very often! I cant explain how embarrassed i am everytimes i have to be in a meeting with him untill today... Im even afraid to make any comment on his jobs too! And many more that my friends probably can tell the stories better than myself

luckyphil247
My biggest regret so far , and I've had a few is : Driving my car when I had way too much too drink in the early morning of Jan 2 , this year . Had 2 friends in the car with me as well . Been drinking and driving for a long time now . This is going to sound really stupid , but I was actually quite good at it too . That all changed that night as I stupidly was showing off pushing my little corolla to 145 in a 60 zone , thus inviting the attention from the men in blue . Got charged with dangerous driving , driving at an excessive speed and refusing a breath test . Result was licence cancellation for 3 years , nobody told me that Victoria ( Australia ) has the toughest driving laws in the country if not the world . Mandatory penalties really suck . Cant risk driving without a license as they can throw me in jail now . I miss driving my car so much , its really hard for me now . Oh well 4 months gone , only 32 to go . Little consideration for other people in traffic that is. Not to get into a " Pissing Contest ", but being judgmental towards someone when they open up is just wrong. !!! Not only did I piss higher than you I wrote my name with my own piss, go away and practice come back when your better at it, will gladly give you a re-match  People all over the world drink and drive, "MILLIONS" of them, they drive after being at parties, picnics, or whatever. This happens every day and " Oh my God ", for the majority, no accidents !, not even a close call ! Can you give me that stats on the numbers involved , Total cars driven home safely by someone who was drinking vs Total accidents with deaths caused by cars driven by someone who was drinking . ? I think not ! Ok, so you can piss high, but but you should have moved because now you are covered in it. Be a good little boy and go clean up , you can always come out to play later. Is there any other honest way to give an opinion (ie. being judgmental) ? Or is an opinion only valid/fair when it's nice ? I think he learned enough from this though and that he might have written what he meant in another way, but he didn't show much responsibility in his post IMO. Appreciate the support KhunEd , and SunTzu76 it really is the fear of going to jail that will stop me from driving without a license. To a lesser extent its also the fear of hitting an expensive car uninsured , as well as damaging my own car . Financially it could be disastrous . If that doesnt sit nicely with you then bad luck, but thats the honest truth . Bear in mind that if I chose to drive unlicensed I would do so sober , so the fear of hurting anyone would be the same as it would be for anyone else , nothing more nothing less. Criminal record , losing my current job and any future job opportunities is enough to adhere to my penalty . Most importantly could also lose a redundancy entitlement that might be around the corner . Dont want you to get the impression that I was always drunk behind the wheel , I often drove sober too . But yes I often drove when I shouldnt and I am grateful that I have never hurt anyone . Have I learnt my lesson ? Yes of course , but not the same way you would like . My license was something I took for granted, when I get it back , I will never take the risk of losing it again . If that means driving in a safe manner and being sober , then so be it . But believe me when I say that I dont fear hurting other people while driving anymore than you do .

If I were to risk driving unlicensed it would be SOBER , so stop talking drinking and driving now . Driving sober , I would not have anymore fear than you would , BUT yes the criminal and financial implications are such that I would not take that risk . luckyphil247
Adding to my post above , If I have never hurt anyone in 17 years of driving , why on earth would it be of concern to me if in fact I am sober even though unlicensed .

And you all thought Dumb and Dumber was fiction right? It was an epic movie that deserved the critics support, the research alone, yes these people exist! Hows about this, you are I would think broke and living in a trailer park, therefore the poor bastard you cripple would not be able to get any money by way of compensation due to the fact that you would under the laws of your land be uninsured if you did not posses a valid driving license no? There's a word for people like you and Ed they won't let me use it anymore. Firstly I dont appreciate you calling me a f*cking idiot as you did in another thread . Have you read my other posts on this thread ? I have said that I wont drive unlicensed , so fcuking stop going on about injuring people when its clearly not going to happen. I AM NOT DRIVING FULL STOP , get that into your stupid thick head once and for all . Also show me, where I have said that I would drink and drive again given the opportunity. Stop writing on my behalf at least give me that , you are prejudiced and judgemental . You dont look or read the FACTS first . The FACTS are : I wont drive unlicensed until I am legally able to drive . Apart from going to jail , yes if I hurt someone I could lose my house which really is a financial deterent . Dont come back with , oh so you dont care about the welfare of others ? Its not a reason for me to NOT drive as I am quite capable of driving safely , ESPECIALLY if I am sober . Everybody who drives should have that concern about others, it goes without saying . Losing my license , doesnt mean I have lost my skill to drive a car . Finally where have I said that I have been drinking and driving for 17 years now ??? Try being more honest as a person and STOP twisting the TRUTH
bryanwhat
I for one don't believe anyone should drink and drive.....I know call me a hypocrite but I haven't driven drunk in 6 years. I'm not perfect and I made some mistakes but anybody should know that drunk driving is not a game, people die! That much is obvious and Phil I understand what u are saying......and driving without a license is nowhere as dangerous as drunk driving but still it's a risk. Driving drunk is the worst decision a person can make and all too often it was one made with poor judgment. And even if it is one beer its just not a good idea is it? How is this an issue? still confused here
luckyphil247
The law has interfered with my bad habit , so I wont be drinking and driving again . End of story . It doesnt matter what the reasons are for me to obey the law , they are MY reasons . The results are the same and that is ; I WONT DRIVE UNLICENSED and when I get my license back I WILL NEVER RISK LOSING MY LICENSE AGAIN Is that so hard to understand ??? YES I am grateful that I never hurt anyone . Do I need to apologise for my actions ??? NO No one has gotten hurt , so if other drink drivers have killed or injured people , that has nothing to do with me . I am not going to pay or apologise for others . My 3 years is my punishment and it wont happen again . It should be noted that this is the first time I have lost my license for drink driving , but have lost my license for speeding 4 times previously. My problem is SPEEDING more so than drink driving .
