flinca
So, the New England Patriots win Super Bowl XXXIX with a score of 24-21. Not a very exciting game in my opinion, especially with no "wardrobe malfunctions". However, the commercials were pretty funny. Does anyone outside of North America care? Why should we care about a game only North Americans call Football???????? They play it with their hands, how serious can we take such game 8) exactly, Viggop and I have to add that a ball is round. Why they call that thing than a ball?
biachung
I did manage to catch the last 1:30 of the game which lasted about 30 minutes
khun_lung
Well, I did get up early and watched the entire game. And it wasn't the most exciting game I've ever seen but there were some good moments and don't regret losing a little sleep. Too bad those of us watching overseas missed out on the cool commercials. I agree completely that the name "football" is a complete misnomer. And since the ball isn't round it might be more closely related to a puck. So I propose that to satisfy all that the word "football" be used exclusively to describe that thing we call soccer and that American football be renamed "fcukball". Loburt
I live in the US and dare I say it, don't care about the Super Bowl. Football is ok, but it is too commercialized. I am more of a futbol aka soccer fan. A game that unites more of the world. Tell that to the countries that have been invaded by British football hooligans. lol And weren't there two countries in South America that went to war over a football match? Can't remember which ones, but I know it did happen.
flinca
... about your bowels? Well, just how super are your bowels? My bowels are quite super. Like a well-trained team, my small and large intestines execute (peristalsis) with great consistency (i.e. I'm regular).
