hbkbkk
how easy or hard is it for a thai to get a vsa to usa nowadays?
patrickbseattle
depends on who you are, but for most thai people it would be hard to get a US visa unless it was work related, such as my friend (airline stewardess). Of course is your a wealthy thai, its no bother at all but for the other 95%, they will want alot of documentation, proof you intend to leave, if you are going there for marriage, well thats a different visa deal and more time, etc.

zeusbheld
i know a fair number of people who had no problem getting a visa, but they had jobs, kids or both to return to thailand for. getting a visa depends on whether they think you're intending to stay illegally. also heard of one girl being turned away at the airport, but it wasn't anyone i know so i don't know the details. luckyphil247
how easy or hard is it for a thai to get a vsa to usa nowadays? The real problem is why anyone would consider going there in the first place . Rather than treating the symptom , preventing the cause is more effective . JackyB
it depends-----have they traveled abroad before?---europe?? Aus.? this will help out a lot. Are they rich?? If no to the above pretty much impossible for tourist visa. If a little bit then they have a better shot. So as your money goes up and your travel experience goes up so does your chances for the visa.
