PeeMarc
...Everyone's entitled to their opinion Marc,..my opinion is that our founding civilisations created what we now know as the calendar....and these were supposedly civilisations who were "uncivilised"... ...the Mayans had one of the most accurate systems which out does any modern orthodox calendar.....but what did they know? ...the Sumerians realised the importance of planetary influence and wrote accurate star charts which were only accepted after 1995 "The year of our Lord"..... ...all things matter, and matter matters the most.... ...the 12 houses of the zodiac are not something that was created to entertain.....they come from a time where mankind had a strong grasp on it's surroundings and the influence those surroundings had upon them. ....Dog days..... ....frantic full moons ....just like you feel different when someone enters your physical house....so the same for when a mass enters your astrological house..... ...People watch an advert on TV and then go straight out and buy the product.... ...but it's totally ridiculous to consider that there are other "strings" that lead us to our decisions... ...79 again, I believe you are mixing science and mystical hocus pocus to make your case. People have been doing ths since year dot. For example, if you look at the early development of Feng Sui, it was a very sensible system, developed by some clever people, to assist mainly lay folk to make certain decisions more accurately. Over time, the whole thing became some sort of bullshit magic and twisted and expanded into what we see today. Feng Sui was entire relevent at the original time it was used, but now it is not. So to keep it alive it has been turned into a parody of itself and blwn completely out of proportion. Much like religions have been turned into grotesque reflections and forms. the civilisations of which you speak did indeed discover and develop incredible things and were, somehow, very much 'in touch' with their environment and elements. there may have been a time when 'zodiacs' and 'horoscopes' really did have something to conribute to people and society at the time. But that time is long past. Now, what we see is mostly, at best, parlor game hoo-ha and little more. The horoscopes that AAAum posted here are from a chinese website of which there are 100s. I would say you would gain more accuracy from flipping a coin, than to believe what is posted above or on those sites. Amusing, at best.
English_George
I would say you would gain more accuracy from flipping a coin ..then that would be the "I-Ching"........... .......whatever people believe, they have their reasons and their inclinations.... ...and with approximately 600,000 hours to be happy with your beliefs... ...then in my opinion beliefs are believed to make life easier to be lived.... ...not crossing swords, but i'm happy in my cradle and I respect anyother thoughts swinging around as long as they don't rock 'da crib.. .. ...

I can tell you that there are 2 sides to that 'coin' (or straw). on one side there is the easy, fortune-telling, mystical crap for the masses who do not possess either the intellect or interest to delve deeper. on the other side, there is an incredibly profound concept and view of all that surrounds us, binds us and flows within us. Man has wished to predict the outcomes and future and contol his destiny for millenia. In the process of thinking about this, along this long path, he has developed some very impressive philosophy, theories and vehicles for introspection. LakeGeneve
bollocks. ...Slightly uncouth Marc....would that stand up in court? Lawyer: My evidence suggests that the motion of the planets may have an effect on our character as they rotate through different ranges and gravitational influences on our bodies. Judge: Bollocks Jury: Horse poo Executioner: I believe you, but...i've just re-morgaged my house and i've got downpayments on my new car to make....sorry. ...So you are saying that you believe the planets and the mass in our solar system have absolutely no effect on our bodies? ....bollocks ..79 Aplogies george ol' bean. AAAum
Dog: People born in the Year of the Dog possess the best traits of human nature. They have a deep sense of loyalty, are honest, and inspire other people's confidence because they know how to keep secrets. But Dog People are somewhat selfish, terribly stubborn, and eccentric. They care little for wealth, yet somehow always seem to have money. They can be cold emotionally and sometimes distant at parties. They can find fault with many things and are noted for their sharp tongues. Dog people make good leaders. I tell you what; all the positives are false and all the negatives are true  turn that to your power...
