SweetieBabie
OK, seems like we have some good feedback here which is great:)I have posted an event. Quit day is November 2nd!! Please sign up, and let's spend the first hellish day together. No sharp objects allowed Do you have a non-smoker girlfriend? If you do, she is your biggest strength in order to quit smoking. Do it for her, everyone is a winner.
Stu_thailand
Can I remind TFers about the stop-smoking event on Nov 2nd. Anyone who is thinking about quitting smoking to sign up for the event on 2nd November.http://www.thailandfriends.com/index.php?name=Events&month=11&year=2008&day=02#1607 Some people are coming to offer support on 2nd November which is great. However, can I ask that each of you PM me and let me know if you are a smoker or a supporter. Even if you haven't yet decided to stop smoking but are thinking about it, please let me know anyway. I need to know this as I am going to be bringing medications (Nicotine Replacement Therapies (NRT)) and other support materials and I am trying to guage numbers. I will also soon be circulating some advance materials to help people prepare. For smokers - you are five times more likely to succeed in stopping smoking with professional support and NRT. I have managed to get some free supplies from manufacturers which I will distribute on the day. Thanks in advance all Can you get some free sleeping tablets also? Then I can just sleep solid for a month and by the time I come out of hibernation, all the nicotine will be gone. THAT'S THE WAY TO DO IT!!!!!! zeusbheld
True....different methods for different people....here's one...think of a non smoker you know who you loathe....dislike, don't respect....and then think: 1. How can they enjoy a drink without a smoke but I have to go outside the bar and disrupt my drink to smoke 2. How can they enjoy a meal without a smoke afterwards...and I have to leave my friends and sit outside alone and smoke 3. How can this horrible person enjoy sex and not smoke afterwards...but I have to stink the bedroom out with smoke 4. How can this dumbass prepare for a big meeting without needing a smoke to relax but i need 4 smokes to be able to face the meeting 5. How can this **** get stimulated for study without a smoke but need to sit and smoke 3 before starting my work  How come non smokers enjoy eating, drinking, sex and such....?? glad i could be of service.
