drlovelife8
I want to share a bit of info about a few of the best Thais I have ever met to compliment the other thread doing the rounds. Sri, Kai and King. 3 of the kindest and coolest people I have ever met in my life. I owe them so much in so many ways. Kai took TOTAL care of all my family when they came to visit me whilst I was at work. That is 1 of a hundred reasons I think you are cool Kai. Sri, you are the kindest and strongest person I know. I swear that Streets track was written about you. King, how many times will you surprise me with not having a bad bone in your body dispite all the **** life has thrown at you. Good looking up and out my brother. The 3 coolest people in the world not including my mum and dad. I salute you
Stramash
cool thread; ok, my old boss Reung on Samui, who turned the last night of my holiday from sadness to smiles by asking me to come back and work for him. For halving in on my plane fare back to Thailand and paying ALL the transit costs for my vinyl. For putting me up with his family for 3 weeks till he could find me somewhere decent to stay! For getting me introduced to the Backyard owners on Pha Ngang and getting me gigs there too (and respect to them too - picked up from Haad Riin ferry EVERY gig and putting me up at Macs Bay!!) For giving me a loan of his merc to do every visa run!!! For making sure I always had a bit of green in my pocket without risking arrest!!
kyotokoala
King Bhumibol's book telling the life of his dog Tongdaeng was certainly worthy of my vote. It is very short and sweet and is a must read for any Thai dog admirer. Have a quick look at this link for a little more of an insight. http://www.corkscrew-balloon.com/02/12/1bkk/26a.html

That sounds WAY too pornographic for 9:15 in the morning. *laugh* It's okay. KK saw "story" and "thai" in the title and assumed it meant "stories about dogs written by thais". Please excuse his obvious ignorance.

drlovelife8
Keep on subject guys, the king is way too easy an option. Not hard to be magnificent with his start in life. I am talking about the average joe who blows you blows you away with their constant excellence. Nice one from Ian D. That dude went beyond the call of duty for you mate.
