Andy boy is on a roll; his form over the end of 2008 and start of 2009 has been tremendous, and he has beaten all the big names in the last couple of months; so much so that he is favourite for the Aussie Open!!!

:D

Andy Murray is great!!! He started quite good this year and I'm sure he will give a hard time to Fed-X and Nadal :D

Murray is in a very top form but you know sometimes it about luck too ^^

as arnold palmer said ..... ?It's a funny thing, the more I practice the luckier I get?

another one from him ..... ?I've always made a total effort, even when the odds seemed entirely against me. I never quit trying; I never felt that I didn't have a chance to win.?

mind u ... being f**king excellent at the choosen sport tends to help also !!

Don't fight anymore ......... he's out, lost his match against Verdasco!!!

I'll bet it's gonna be Federer against Nadal agin in the final!! Rafa is always motivated and has already give some demonstration of his form. Federer will be motivated knowing he can equalise his number of GS with those of Sampras.

At the women's side it's a little bit more difficult. But I guess a Saffina against Kuznestsova/Dementieva final.

I disagree; he was favourite based on his form over recent months compared to the other top seeds and this did look a good possibility for his 1st grand slam...but once again he exhibits the great Scottish ethos of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory!!! :D

And England always get those odds in footy tourneys as invariably they are full of their great sassenach bluster, then always fail to deliver!!

sorry mate that's bollocks ..... NOBODY else with his record would have been the bookies favourite !!

his form over recent months was in 1 week tournaments and usually in best of 3 sets. grand slams r a completely different animal .... a 2 week tournament and best of 5 ... now check out Murray's record in Grand Slams. there's NO WAY he should have been favourite !!
