I was thinking before the start I would give Johnson the new ball to see what happens and he did - I think it was a good idea. He didn't bowl that well but then neither did Hilfenhaus. Bowling changes became a bit frenetic as the day wore on but at least he was trying things - giving Johnson an over before lunch for example. What I really liked was the way he spoke after the match with regards to Hughes appeal and Bell's referral. He handled it well and it was good to see.
