Just a quick update for those wishing to know...day 3 at SCG finish England 488/7 in reply to the Aussies 280 all out.....just in case you guys didn't know...

so the Aussies still in with a chance of drawing the series then !!! :D:D

Only if the rain in Queensland moves down to Sydney!!!!!!! :evil: :evil:

I've quite liked Clarke's captaincy so far in this match. I was thinking before the start I would give Johnson the new ball to see what happens and he did - I think it was a good idea. He didn't bowl that well but then neither did Hilfenhaus. Bowling changes became a bit frenetic as the day wore on but at least he was trying things - giving Johnson an over before lunch for example.

What I really liked was the way he spoke after the match with regards to Hughes appeal and Bell's referral. He handled it well and it was good to see.

213-7 at stumps....still 151 runs away from an innings defeat....I quite like Clark's captaincy too, very similar to Pontings....

Yeah Yeah Yeah Beaten on home soil once in 23 years isn't to bad we taught you poms everthing we know about cricket !!!!!! :lol::lol::lol:
