Sathorn
I have never had so much trouble and I don't know why. I use Buddy Broadband. My computer tells me it has sent 10 000 000 bytes and received 8 000 000 bytes. However, I can't get on to many web pages and when I click a link, I just get that retarded message, "this page cannot be displayed". For some STRANGE reason, I can get onto TF, but some images are not showing. I can read the forums, and if this works, can even post. One of my friends said lots of people are having trouble in Bangkok at the moment. Can anyone confirm that? And does anyone have a magical solution? PeeMarc
Bottom line: Internet in Thailand is generally f**ked. There is a very old saying here... "Everything is broken, and you're the only one who seems to give a ****."

I used to have the same problem all the time in Hua Hin. It could be your DNS Try this site www.opendns.com I switched to there settings and have been trouble free ever since. Crustyjuggler
The new Aag cable will supposedly be connected this month. Basically it's a 2 terabyte pipe boosting Thai internet, especially to servers further out. You probably notice on youtube, asian stuff streams ok but anything else tends to buffer almost immediately which is pretty poor in this day and age. Lets not talk about 3g.. Thailand is now officially the last country in the Asian group without 3g access. Yes, Lao and Vietnam now have full licenses. WTF!

olympos
I usually experience problems accessing sites whose servers are outside of Thailand The TF server is in the USA...do you have any issues on this site? Well sometimes TF seems to be off or loading very slow - actually its not very often but it happens. I guess the reason is not your server in USA (i know from own experiences that a hosting in USA works just fine and they give almost 24 hours online guarantee). The "problem" might be the connection through other countries servers, firewalls and data lines until the page appears somewhere far away in another country. Nothing to worry about at all.

Zombiedriven
We use TOT at the house it aint as bad as I have seen. I use AiS Mobile life it is kinda slow but I dont have to worry about pages not loading up so. I am use to SLOW SLOW internet so not missing much but I do miss my DSL in the states though it has been over 3 years since I had it but that was great. Also computer Tip for people with slower internet connections the New OPERA internet browser has a internet accleator built into it so that is great. BUT IT IS IN BETA RIGHT NOW. But I am a Opera fan I have it on all my systems so.
