We talked about this and that, he told me all about how 90% of his spare time goes into making Stormtrooper armor for the "501st Legion; Vaders Fist". www.501st.com This group has thousands of members in outposts and garrisons all over the world. But nothing in Thailand yet. So, after a long chat with my new Stormtrooper friend and looking into the 501st webpage, i'm thinking about forming a new outpost in Thailand. An outpost requires only 1 member, but i think closer to 10 would be fun if attending events together. The reason I'm not saying the most SW fan is because I haven't been all over Greenland... But I have yet to meet one who is worse than me... Yess Hoth is hot compared to your place... :-) Well, about the uniforms. 501st has a guy on Hawaii making them and selling them without a profit to The Legion's troops. George Lucas is ok with this, just as long as 501 or members make any profit from making the suits. Some members gather info on how to do one themselves, but for the suit to be approved by 501st, it has to be reeeally good, so i don't recommend making your own one, unless you know what you're doing. Cos it's quite tricky with the mic/speaker in the helmet to get the right Stormtrooper voice. I'm not sure how much a suit from Hawaii would cost, but will investigate. I had those jedi's stuff since i was very young...when my mother still wear high heel and tigh-jeans went out with me to cinema .... one of reasons I dated my ex bf is he can say every words on old star war films......... First and formost I wanted to be a "Clone cold assault Trooper". That is in the phase 1 type... http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Clone_cold_assault_trooper But since that is not listed in the 501st (I dunno wheter or not it is listed on their homepage) I cannot say if I can choose this. Second choise: Galactic Marine (GM) Third Choise: Snow Trooper (TS) Additional choise: Republic Commando (RC) <- alrady got a personalized desig for it, basically I only need a "Black" suit...
