This is a good story.
RED MARBLES
I was at the corner grocery store buying some early potatoes.
I noticed a small boy, delicate of bone and feature, ragged but clean, hungrily apprising a basket of freshly picked green peas.
I paid for my potatoes but was also drawn to the display of fresh green peas. I am a pushover for creamed peas and new potatoes.
Pondering the peas, I couldn't help overhearing the conversation between Mr. Miller (the store owner) and the ragged boy next to me.

Hello There Nice Person
Did Anyone Ever Tell You,
Just How Special You Are
The Light that You Emit
Might even Light a Star
Did Anyone Ever Tell You that
Many Times When They were Sad
Your E-mail made Them Smile a bit
In Fact It made Them Glad
For the Time You Spend Sending Things
And Sharing whatever You Find
There are No Words to Thank You
But Somebody, Thinks You're Fine
Did Anyone Ever Tell You
Just How Much They Like You

TAX CUTS EXPLAINED
Because it is tax season. . . Let's put tax cuts in terms everyone can understand. Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100.
If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this:
The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
The fifth would pay $1.
The sixth would pay $3.
The seventh would pay $7.
The eighth would pay $12.
The ninth would pay $18.
The tenth man (the richest) wou
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE KIDS WHO WERE BORN IN THE 1920's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's !!
First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they carried us and lived in houses made of asbestos.
They took aspirin, ate blue cheese, tuna from a can, and didn't get tested for diabetes or cervical cancer.
Then after that trauma, our baby cribs were covered with bright colored lead-based paints
We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when
If I could catch a rainbow
I would do it just for you
And share with you its beauty
On the days you're feeling blue.
If I could build a mountain
You could call your very own;
A place to find serenity,
A place to be alone.
If I could take your troubles
I would toss them in the sea,
But all these things I'm finding
Are impossible for me.
I cannot build a mountain
Or catch a rainbow fair,
But let me be what I know best,
A friend who's always there.
Please read to the end.
I like you because of who you are to me . . . . A true friend. And if I don't get any comments back I'll take the hint.Remember:
"A good friend will come bail you out of jail . . . .
But a true friend will be sitting next to you saying WE screwed up, but we had fun!"
I'm Proud To Be Your Friend!I've learned . . . . That life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the
faster it goes.
I've learned . . . . That we should be glad o
I was in Cambodia in late February when my dad came to Thailand. My younger bro lives in Phnom Penh educating the masses, so we went to see him. Besides PP, we also went to Sihanoukville on the coast - great seafood, nice beer (Anchor), and a nice town BUT spread out. For anyone going overland through Ko Kong to Sihanoukville, here's some tips:1. Get your Cambodian visa in BKK NOT at the border, as you'll be conned extra by the Cambo Immigration.
2. Be careful of the touts - these guys wi
