is really nice to see Ronaldo knocked out after his conniving b@st@rd tactics to get Rooney sent off. Every gram of respect I had for the kid disappeared in a flash when the spotty, greasy, diving little prIck winked at his bench and smiled "job well done".

i personally hope he gets nothing but distain from all english fans, public at every match, public event, training session until he pisses off to real madrid (which the coward most likely will do).

hope rooney splits him in 2 in training, as the reports suggested!!

let's face it though, i will remember how much, in spite of all the talented players they had, england sucked more than how much they got screwed by the refs.

portugal can't complain about france's diving, they had several attempted dives in that game alone. the loser of italy-france can't complain if they lose by a dive either. live by the scam, die by the scam. i think if divers risked lengthy bans from both international and club football if video replays show they dived, we'd see less of it.

I think if one thing has been shown in this world cup, it is what a poor bunch of referee's the game has. Such inconsistancy makes it hard for any team, but in some cases (Brazil vs Aust), it appears so one sided, it makes you wonder if the pay rises just granted to the officials has been well spent.

This falling over in agony because an opposing player nearly touched you has to be stopped, and I agree with Zeus's comment about replays after the match is over being scrutinised and, if you are found guilty of unsportsman like conduct..out you go...

What this game needs is for someone to pick up the ball and RUN!
