Looks like the shits going to hit the fan in the middle east!

Sad to see everyone pointing fingers at everyone else, trying to draw Iran, and Syria into it.

All the world leaders are sitting in Russia at the G8 summit, be nice if they could take a break from giving each other reach arounds, and put a serious cease fire statement together, before a gung ho Isreali army piles into the Lebanon, shooting anything with a heart beat.

Here is a way to get middle east peace in a few years. Give all sides in the middle east plenty of weapons and have all the non-middle east countries agree to stay out of it. Then let the middle east companies all fight it out and kill each other off. Then go in and wipe out those who remain. Wouldn't the world be nice and peaceful then.

Its times like this I wonder why I live and work in the middle east............Im off back to Saudi Arabia tomorrow, I hope they dont start the anti-western stuff there again :-(

I'd like to see your face when instead of 'killing each other off' they decide to join forces and attack you wisemen instead - with the weapons you have so cleverly given them. You say 'wipe them out' like they're a swarm of insects - yet someone has to only say something remotely insensitive about 9-11 or the bombings in London and there's outrage and indignation galore - what? the lives of your people are worth more than the lives of theirs?

I'm not happy with Israel with their wall and other policies but I don't think its right they were hit with a missle either. 2 wrongs don't make a right and someone has to say no at some point or it will lead to total destruction or the endless war which it has been. Israel invaded lebanon before in case you don't know and it was after being bombed so what did the bombers think would happen this time. Throwing bombs to change the world doesn't work unless you want to change the world into a dead zone...........

So because I don't have to suffer, I must look the other way? FYI I have lived in the Middle East and have many friends from there. You CANNOT judge a nation from the acts of fanatics who just happen to be in power. What if you were there? What if you just wanted all the fighting to stop so you and your family could just live - forget about being happy or whatever.

Agreed that it doesn't often help to interfere in politics of other nations but you can't just turn a blind eye either. Remember that for every person who wants a war, there are hundreds of others who just want their lives, nothing more.
