Someone said it was silly to go to Wat Pho while many people were celebrate Halloween party. I don't think so, I never go to Halloween Party before in my life, and I read about Halloween party is more than just wear sexy costume to join the party. Anyway, my friend told me about the event "9 Wonders at Watpho" It was so cool, I'm a Bangkokien, never walked in Wat Pho at night before. So it was a good idea. I have heard that they had mini light and sounds. Besides it was free... and the last day was Halloween night.OK. I took some pics, they are not so good... cuz i didn't bring my tripod plus I was so tired, and hungry. This is the biggest recline buddha, this style is for my birthday, Tuesday.

The drawing, ancient ones... I never know how hard that people in that time work... after i knew it from an artist, it was so amazing. The pic on the right. it people "Tam boon" with coin by put 108 coins in the begging bowl one by one. Pha maha jedi 4 Ratchakharn, They are Jedi for King Rama 1 - 4, they are so beautiful. I didn't know about Giants at Wat Pho before I thought they were bigger than this, but they are small. It was a legend about war of giants at Wat Pho and Wat Arun, The Temple of dawn (a lot bigger). They fight until the place there cleared out. We call that place Tha Tian (Tian Pier). The giants at Wat Pho were lost. so they was cursed to be small like this. This one was so cool, it you can see buddha image there and "thammas" When we go to the balcony outside, and then look back we can see the buddha image sitting on Thammas, so beautiful.After we went home, we went to the Ubosot. So beautiful, these pics weren't half of what i really wanna show you guys.If you have a chance, just go to visit there 50 baht for Thai now and 200 baht for foreigners, included tour guide.

ohh after walked around Wat Pho, we went to Yaowarat... we were so hungry...

We ate at a chinese restaurant.. boil rice in the rain... haha. aroi mak 430 baht for 6 people. very very cheap.

very great pics and yes halloween once you become an adult is just an excuse to be goofy or dress sexy or slutty and have no one say anything lol I think it was great idea to go to the wat I bet it was very empty compared to normal time so was perfect day to go and very smart!

Khun Charlie, yes it's so diffence, that's why i really wanna see... since i was young until now, this was the first time that i have seen.

Many ppl might think the same way. Many silly people that I have seen... and car park was fulled... We had to park our car behind the Grand Palace.

Dont know why you apologised for pictures - they are fantastic - was only in Was Pho for short time and it looks so much more amazing at night. TY!!

In my heart, charge money for entry then the temple becomes a musiem. Offer a donation box and it becomes a temple again.

How funny would it be if Thai people had to pay 400% higher rates to enter places and national parks in other lands ... i'd feel shame for such behavior...nobody reading this would do such a thing?....

I say its silly to go see something you can see anyday of the week, versus a Haloween party, which of course is once per year.

You went on the last of the 'free days' ; which only points to another motive, saving money.

We had a great time at the Halloween Party, and really wished you were there. And I think if nobody else would have paid you 50 baht to be there, I would have. So you can have fun and socialize at the party, and then take the 50 baht and go see it another time.

People are difference, you and I enjoy our life in difference way.

"Fun" for me is difference from you. Free entrance is not the only reason that I went there.... I have friends dude...We decide to wisit Wat Pho that day. My friends that I always enjoy to be with. We laugh and fun all the way. We laugh at each others after we got lost...

Besides, I have money to pay for the entrance, no worries. Friends are more important. I didn't wanna go there all alone.
