James and I were sipping tea and watching "The Notebook" on UBC and then here comes the fireworks!

We were way too lazy to use a tripod, so this is what it turns out to be!

I missed the fireworks last nite....was enjoying with the inte'l buffet in a hotel. :-P

Yes, they were loud, right behind this soi.

Sounded just like the gunshots heard a few days ago.

I remember last trip there, I swear every week I would be out on the balcony watching fireworks, they were always going off for something. Nice shots though.

Weirdest experience for me was at Vertigo restaurant one night. There was a firework show in a nearby hotel - 53 floors below.

So the fireworks were shooting up and exploding BELOW us. Then the stars would fall backwards AWAY from us and get smaller - it was freaky, but still beautiful.

If I knew fireworks could look that cool not using a tripod I would have tried it a long time ago. Awesome effects by shooting handheld. Thanks for sharing Deester! :-)
