So yesterday ol' Bushie walked out of the White house ending 8 years of lies, bullshit and warmongering, in stepped Obama with a damming but also powerful speech......... and NO ONE posts a journal about it?With all of the Obama hysteria I thought someone would.Anyway, great speech, lets see how it pans out.

Yes, it was a great speech, and a great moment.

I actually went back onto youtube after it was ended and watched the inauguration speeches from dickhead, Clinton, dickhead snr, reagan, and Kennedy. No one apart from Kennedy could come close, with perhaps the exceptin of Clinton.

I REALLY hope he goes ahead full throttle (excuse pun) with non oi reliant cars etc, if he does, he will go down as the WORLDS leader, rather than the leader of the US.

Aretha Franklin, as she always does when I hear her voice, gave me goose bumps.

Whatever anyone says, Obama supporter or not, ther can surely be NO ONE sad to see the back of Dickhead jnr.

i have not checked the post in a week ,but wanted to see the reaction..i am stateside and attended the inaugation. yes it was great and you could feel the hope in the eye's of the people . there is a powerful change that i had not seen in a long time.i will upload pics later ,have to fly out later today !

Obama speaks a lot, but says very little. His way of putting his head one way, then the other is very machine-like. Did anyone do an analysis of what he says when he looks right, or left? Must mean something, he looks like a robot. Perhaps I should turn on the sound one day, but four days of "I'm the new man from Hope" is just too much.

The only good signal I see is Israel pulling out on time for the speech.

Hopefully that means something more than the usual hipocrisy.

It all makes me think personcults aren't limited to dictatorships.

I disagree Tadzio, one of the strongest reasons that he got into office was his message. His message has been the same for a long time now. His actions in the senate (both) has shown that he believes in working with everyone. In his book, "The Audacity of Hope", he explains in great detail why, like his speeches, that we all need to unite.

I truly don't think he says very little and wish him and his team all the best.
