Da rolla coasta is on!Today was the first day of high school in NYC public schools.  Tomorrow will be the first day for students.  I will be teaching the 9th graders again - Living Environment. It's a biology class without the anatomy and physiology. It's basically about inquiry, ecology, and how organisms maintain their homeostasis and pass their genes to the next generation. After teaching for 1 year here, I know that there will be ups and downs.  The ups are really up there, and the downs can be subbasement!  But it's all good as the students are pretty good kids overall.  I am teaching again at Abraham Lincoln HS in Brighton Beach-Coney Island, Brooklyn.  Anyone go there?  Some famous people have gone here such as Stephon Marbury, Sebastian Telfair, Neil Diamond, Harvey Keitel, Mel Brooks, and Marv Albert.  Many others.  The most recent graduated this past June - Lance Stephenson - one of the top basketball recruits in the US. Here we go.  Wish me luck.  I am gonna need it!

Yechhh... I did that crap for years.. Taught in Florida, Wisconsin, Colombia, Taiwan, and Thailand before I called it a day...

You couldn't drag me into a classroom.... It takes every ounce of mental strength to get through each day.
