If anyone got up early enough lately, you may find that weather in Bangkok is now getting colder than the last 10 months ago. And this remind me that it's going to be season greeting soon as " Christmas" and " New Year Celebration"

I cant hardly wait to see Bangkok at that time. Around this time until end of January every year. There are always Beer gardens all around, due to this comfortable atsmosphere, people like to sit outside after work and sip cold beer.. Laugh and talk to friends and couples and have fun.. Be ready for long holiday in New Year and make a plan to travel out of the city somewhere.. Next month (Dec) you will see many lights in Bangkok .. I love the way they blinks and I can just look at them for hour without getting bored, because it's wildy and nice weather outside.. I have seen Christmas in Paris.. it's really beautiful. I hope someone will share with me how it's gonna look like in this year too.

I could hardly saw people sad or upset in Christmas and New Year time.. Even they are poor, but they will try best to take and to give gifts to others.. Try to find best foods and drinks at homes. I dont know how Christains celebrate exactly because I have seen it only in movies. But in Thailand, Buddists also find way to celebrate too.. We make good food and we exchange each other gifts. And then we travel out of the city in this nice weather moment.. It's really special moment for me too..

I wish it will be even colder in Thailand. Because when weather is not too hot or humid, it motivates people to work a lot. ( I've got this kinda logic from my ex... He is Dutch and he told me so ) He even told me that most of developed countries are in cold zone.. And most of un- or under developing countries are in hot zone ( like Thailand and vietnam, ect)

I wish God gives us 2 years of snow in Thailand. And let's see how much we can develop our country then :-)

I agree. Thinking only yesterday it was a really nice cool, sunny and breezy day. My favourite time of year in Bnagkok. Not sure about the working harder, doesn't seem to be having that effect in my office :-)

Enjoy the beer gardens while it's comfortable to sit outside. Make the most of it, it doesn't last long enough

Living in the same country as Santa Claus, I always found that Christmas without snow is not Christmas. I'll experience that feeling again this year, in Bangkok. Like Get, I am anxious to see all the lights. I am also curious to see how Bangkokians celebrate the Holidays. Hope to meet TFers as well.

It's true, Santa lives here, I saw him 2 weeks ago in the parade donwtown. I was not the only one to see him, thousands of people did too, adults and kids.
