Yep i totally agree on this..... i think we're all luckier than hundred millions ppl out there in many many ways. so hope you enjoy your day and make the world a better place :>

For those who are going for the orphan event today, i really wanna go there but i got some other plan ahead of me here. Hopefully there will be such a kind event like this again and again.

Have a lovely weekend everyone ♥

You are 100% correct, we become so involved in our own materialstic world that we ignore those who are much less fortunate than ourselves. Its so sad how mankind will idly stand bye and watch ubelievable suffering being inflicted, especially on children.

Many sad hunger stories r being neglected...unheard & ignored...Sadly, my tax is paying for war instead of hunger!!..."Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, signifies in the final sense a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed." by President Dwight D. Eisenhower, April 16, 1953 ...

Found the same mail (in Dutch) in my mailbox a few days ago. Yep, we r spoiled, May, but most of the time we ignore it. Nice mail and post to put our mind on the real things that matter.

Have a nice weekend,

Eric

well i'm going out on a limb here and i'm going to say that these are very nice sentiments but the pics all show dying and starving people in africa. and guess where most of the civil wars are these days? sudan, eritrea, congo, liberia blah blah blah. and guess where most of the poor starving people are? sudan, eritrea, sudan, liberia blah blah blah. so these poor starving nations have enough money to fight wars but don't have enough money to feed their people. i bet the dictator or war lord ruling over these festering **** holes isn't poor either. and if the UN sends food etc in, guess where the food ends up? on the black market being sold by these war lords.

sorry for highjacking your journal may. and i do feel for these people of course as any caring human being does. cheers :)
