Now everybody knows the meaning of 'bullshit'... obviously. Have you ever examined the real identification of the word?

I had this discussion with my client today...

Pam:

Where do you think the word 'bullshit' grew out from? In term of, why do u think ppl call it 'bullshit' and not something else?

Client:

Well, bullshit means when you're talking bullshit - u know... like ...

Pam:

No, no, no - i know what it means... but I wonder...

...Does it also mean that when someone say that to you, it also means that your mouth is equivalent to cow's ass hole?

Client: ........ @_@ ...... good point Pam!!!!! - I guess it could mean that too!

...So, do you think that's how the word came from?

I 932 Times Lit. Supp. 8 Dec. 933/3 ?Bull? is the slang term for a combination of bluff, bravado, ?hot air? and what we used to call in the Army ?Kidding the troops?

...Although I was only seven when my father was killed, I still remember him very well and some of the things he used to say. ? One of the first things he taught me was, ?Never tell a lie when you can bullshit your way through.?

WOW - Googles search REALLY have eVERything! I'm amazed!

jon0108 - that was a perfect display of bullshit (or bollox as we like to say in England), my deepest congratulations to you.

More seriously... bull is a 17th century word that means to imply ludicrous inconsistency... its origin is untraceable, although I expect Websters will claim it comes from Texas :P

So u guys are saying that the mouth is not equivalent to cow's ass hole? ~ Darn....this is boring!

U know... Freakier than seeing Panyan's name with MEL's face next to it.... Is to see MEL's name with a pic of Panyan's butt.... U ppl..... u *seriously* need to sort this!

Anyways, now Shac has definitely confused me too.....

Ok - so if **** falls on u = u are special.

So i guess if someone gives u bullshit = u are special too....

If u like to bullshit = you make someone special.

Then i guess bullshit is definitely a good thing.

.....Thank you God for shitting me onto Earth....Amen.
