Well, here's a turn up for the books.

I've had it on and off a bit at a time; had it set at 22, then 24, 25, 27, 29 and now 30.

Now I've turned the damn thing off and I'm not entirely sure when I'm turning it back on again.

I'm freezing my arse off here. Wierd. It's like a cold sweat.

When you say government rate for electricity. Is that just for BKK?

Or is it a national rate for all of Thailand?

Does it differ in different provinces?

After living without it for something like 8 years or more, I've finally given in and, yesterday, became the proud owner of a brand spanking new Samsung 18000 BTU air conditioner. Woohoo!

Now I'm looking for an air con for my mom's aprt. living room. Need 1800 BTU. cuz the room is big. Not sure which one is good.... I have been looking for it since last week, didn't get good offer... the best one is from Carrefour, they said they would give away an electric fan. Homepro would give away a microwave.

but those all LG. not sure it's good one.

I would be careful of anything labelled LG - such a dodgy sounding name!!! :wink:
