Women are the bad drivers?

I'm trying to encourage my friends to learn driving. The answers I got are the same... "I think women are the bad drivers"

I was a jaw dropper for a while... I don't think I'm that bad, you might hear my swearing words so many times but mostly i just calm (jai yen).

I talked to a friend of mine yesterday, she asked me how did I take new car (nong Meena) back home. My answer was... "I just drove from there to home". Her face was surprised "How did you do it? Not afraid? It's so new? How did you learn function in very briefly time"

I think car has same mainly system, so it's not that hard for me to learning by doing lol, don't know why she was so surprised... plus it's my car, if i don't drive it who will? She said she couldn't do that never ever...

I told them it's not that hard... I could remember the 1st day I learnt driving, my teacher told me to go forward, backward...turn left, turn right, then drive on street, I mean, Pratunam, Victory monument, Dindaeng, Ratchada, Ramkhamhaeng, in that day. (Without driving license) so newbie. I drove everyday between home, workplace and university, for a month, and go everywhere.... make stronger skill...I told them they will feel driving is same as you eating. They still scared...

Don't know how to make them get up and believe in themselves.

It's also a great excuse for never trying anything either. If you already figure that you'll fail why go to all of the hard work to prove yourself right?

I think it depends on the person. Like half of my friends can drive and they do that regularly. But my other friends who don't drive is simply because they're afraid they're gonna crash and burn...one individual is so clumsy that she always stumbles on an even surface...my friends who don't drive just count on their bf, or future bf, to drive them around. I've been driving for 3 years now and I have to say I really like driving. It keeps me calm and I like having my own space when I commute.

I imagine that the half of your friends who can drive are men and the half that can't drive are women....

Just a guess.

@English_Bob

Actually, I'm sad to say, but I have only 2 guy friends. And, yes, they drive. So, I didn't include them into this discussion. All my friends are girls because my faculty consists of 318 ppl; 300 girls, 18 guys...Yes, it's true.

You could open facultyfriends.com...or just send em here :)

Thailand's future... 318 university students. 18 men. 9 (almost certainly gay). The remaining 9? At least are lazy cheats..

Thailand is run by straight men, but the majority of well-educated people are women and gay.
