Does anyone know of any?

Plenty of jobs can be acquired without a college education. The most important thing is to have a worthwhile skill and a way to prove it, thats normally what a college degree is suppose to signify. There are plenty of people who have jobs in companies based on work experience only or a nice portfolio. The only thing that is mandatory to getting a good job is the time it takes to earn the skill and someway to back it up on paper.

To work here as a foreigner, you need a work permit. One of the stipulations for a work permit is to show your college degree or if you are HIGHLY experienced/proficient at a particular task/job that a Thai worker cannot do, then that requirement may be waived. Due to your age and limited experience, you would have a tough time finding a job here unless you were willing to teach English. English teaching doesnt seem to require any degrees and often they work under the table without work permits, but that is risky.

some english teaching jobs don't seem to require much at all beyond the wilingness to show up... certainly many don't require any kind of command of the english language, although they tend to pay accordingly.

Marshal Mathers has done ok with rap music i guess if you find something you're good at and enjoy then you'll succeed.

p.s i think he worked in a Detroit burger bar 1st

Right, if you got heaps of drive n ability...thats all you need. Many top entrepreneurs often have a pretty grim educational background.Branson for example got expelled from public school for knobbing his housemaster's daughter at age of 16...

Within 20 years he was shagging FA's in his own 747s.

constuction can pay very well. I don't know about thailand but in the US you can make alot if you are self employed.

Erm..Eagle...perhaps you should come out to TH and see the construction gangs. They are paid about 2 dollars a day and live in pretty crappy conditions. Mostly women do it, I might add. Most from Northeast or Burma. Not too pleasant.

I wonder if they have gangs of women installing kitchens cause that I'd liike to see. I worked with an Indian women once and she pointed with her lips, a cultural thing that takes some getting used too.

Airline steward/stewardess? As far as I know, they'll take you if you've passed high school, you're at least 5.5", have all your limbs and don't look like a zombie. It pays well, usually provides accomodation and you get to travel a lot.

If you're speaking about Thailand, then of course, the most obvious job to take up is that of an English teacher. As I understand it, you just need to have a TEFL certificate and it could land you a reasonably paying job with a school or university. The real money is made at International universities or on the side though...more often than not, people earn more through private tutoring than through regular 9-5 teaching jobs.

There are plenty, but there sure as **** aren't any in Thailand.

Work your ass off doing construction or something and budget your money wisely so that you can fford to take long extended vacations to Thailand and still afford to retire at some point.
