pr0nmaster
a friend needs a copy of Pastel (accounting) ..... a copy here costs 9000 rand.......(63 000 baht)(for the version he wants) I had told him before about available cracked and copied software available in Bangkok .........and he asked me to enquire ..... firstly I think it wouldn't be smart to buy a copy of this type of software.....due to the nature of freaking accountants and audits etc.....can anyone advise ? and secondly...if its not as stupid as it seems......is it even available ? thomaswd
a copy here costs 9000 rand.......(63 000 baht)(for the version he wants) Holly sh*t...I thought software was exspensive in Canada...No wonder your mate is seeking other sources...I too would be a little on the shy side to send copies through the mail or any other means to another country...One thing to hand carry...Totally another when in the mail and questions are asked... GoldMember
You can suggest he tries the likes of BitComet etc .Often full of pirated software downloads.
pr0nmaster
yeah... he could download it....but you dont understand ....it needs to be a cracked version...... anouther option would for him to legitimately buy it (not the pirate version) from Thailand when i'm there because as you say.....its likely to be much cheaper.......(can anyone confirm?) its not really my problem....and i dont really wanna deal with customs again....as just recently had some **** with them ....and could be I'm on some list or something.......so I dont know what the laws are in this regard...(brining in a legitimate version) ... zeusbheld
yeah... he could download it....but you dont understand ....it needs to be a cracked version...... if you download it, that would almost certainly be a cracked version, unless you download it from the manufacturer, in which case you can probably find the unlock code somewhere (unless it has a usb key). inamorato25
I'd be careful about downloading newer versions of any software from P2P. I used to try with Mac software, but it almost always was corrupted in some way. Then a net-sage buddy told me that software makers actually flood P2P networks with corrupted files -- they do this so that the files proliferate and people just give up trying to find a viable version of a program. I used to crap my pants every time I tried installing -- and that was on a Mac, which is relatively virus free. I wouldn't dream of trying it on a PC. Now Pantip copy software, now that's some quality stuff. Not wanting to confess any sins, a "friend of mine" recently returned to Japan with about $3,000 worth of video editing and DTP software -- all for the amazing pantip price of about $80. It all works incredibly well. I'd just pay somebody to buy it and send it by mail to a PO address in SA and hope it makes it through customs. pr0nmaster
yeah exactly....I find the p2p is always corrupted.....irritating when it took a day or 2 to download the file..... no-one can tell me if they have this program at pantip ? zeusbheld
Pontip has everything!Hell they'd even find a porno with your mum on if you asked them nicely with slurms mom? the one where she tied you up? nah one doesn't have to ask nicely they're giving that away free. not exactly a million seller. i've gotten some crap software at phantip (for macintosh) and some great stuff like a working copy of final cut pro 5 that even accepts update patches automatically from apple. i'd never trust a cracked version of an OS, especially windows, from there, but lots of ppl do. as for the downloading, i've had OK luck with that, and know ppl who have done very well indeed. it isn't necessarily a bad option unless you have to wait forever for the download to complete. i back up my entire hard drive before installing ANY major software including legit programs coz sometimes they too can screw things up... and my applications and documents are on separate partitions, i'm pretty sure this would be useful for noodling with windoze too... not going to phantip any time soon but next time i do i'll look for that if i remember, but remembering things isn't exactly my strenght...
