Mikee_Moose
Fun stuff. I spotted my favourite pub, my office and my condo on GE. Couldnt be arsed to make public postings since to do so requires all kinds of registration crap.
ling_dtua_khaao
Yeah the satellite pics of BKK are pretty detailed. I could pick out my dad's condo, my girlfriend's family home and various other things. If you go to the Layers menu of Google Earth and play around with different options, you can get thousands of placemarks showing for BKK. --Ling
zeusbheld
i can see the building i live in, with it's old paint job--red, blue, and ochre--the paint job that made it the 3rd ugliest building in all of bkk at the time. now it's ochre and oxide red (maroon). only semi-ugly. the google earth is also great to look at before you fly out, makes it easier to spot landmarks from the air.
