The 2nd mistake is posting this thread, maybe he didnt really think that this is not smart, not cute and kinda stupid.. 3. Another mistake made by the same person, he just happened to know the right person not... be more picky next time, use some sense to get to know the honest one. Let see if he could do it.. or he will just keep picking wrong person forever... Apologies, as your argument didn't interest or involve me, I must admit I didn't read all your posts enough to realise you were arguing with multiple posters. The special olympics comment was crass, for that I apologise too. My initial comment was correct though, when you posted, the argument had actually already moved on further than to the point up quoted in your reply. As you saw it as entertaining, it was only fair to point you to the latest episode before Princess came to the rescue and deleted everything. already saw the latest episode. didnt have any new comments. special olympics comment: crass is no problem, arguably an asset on TF, but it is a bit long in the tooth and probably ready for the glue factory. This has been going on in your head way before you met any Thai people. You have taken one little incident where somebody didn't want you around them anymore and told you an untruth to achieve that. You have taken that to mean the entire Thai nation tells more lies than anyone else. You have made your life 100 times more difficult by the conversations you create....maybe need to have a look at the kaka coming out of your mouth? Most people seem convinced that I have gotten this impression from always being in sleazy parts of thailand when the truth is I've been to Nana once and I actually live among the working class thais. Everybody seems to be convinced that this is a terrible insult when in fact I'm only speaking from experience and know that is true. I was looking for an explanation as to cure my curiosity but instead I just got a load of people incredibly insulted and aggressive towards me. I have been in Thailand for over a year and do love it here but there are still many parts of the culture that I'm baffled by, is this wrong? Every Farang I know, mostly teachers, say the same thing but choose to ignore it as they say the pros here out weigh the cons. Ignorance is bliss!!! You can walk into any Asia Books, Bookazine, Kinokuniya, etc. and find a dozen books on Thai culture that would give you some insight into the values and behavior of the people here. Instead, having lived and taught here for a year already, you apparently haven't read a single book on the subject - nor asked any Thais about it as far as I can tell from your post. Instead, you're seeking answers on a community website where people posts threads with titles such as "Do you lick on the first date" and "Anal Sex." And you're a teacher. GET REAL! This is a subject where western culture and eastern cultures totally differ! I am already aware of that and also of the different values here, which is fine but I am amazed that the only farangs that have completely adapted to the culture here are all on Thailandfriends.
