Angel_Master Posted December 7, 2006 Report Share Posted December 7, 2006 hmmm, no difference really.. cheat is when you don't play by the rules.. lying is a specific kind of cheating because it avoids being subject to the rules that would apply if the truth were known or acknowledged. everyone does both to some degree sometimes. people lie or cheat in an attempt to make their lives better or more livable. if someone does so because they really do have their back against the wall and can't see another way then it seems hard to blame anyone for that. but if someone does so out of pure selfishness just to improve their life at anothers expense and not out out of real need, or even just for kicks.. well it's very different..
