Bedtime

I know this is going to get some funny responses, but hopefully some real responses too:

What time do you usually go to bed, and what time do you usually wake up? Please don't base this off of who is waiting for you in your bed...hehehe.

I have a very late schedule myself. I go to bed around 4 AM and wake up around 11-12. The majority of my customers are in the US and Europe, so that's my excuse. What are your times?

since I came back in January after 3 weeks in Holland I never really got into rhytem. Back in Holland I always went to bed about 2AM and woke up (Alarm woke me up that is) 7:45. Weekends I slept much longer.

Here I mostly go to bed on different times 7pm, 11pm, 1AM, 3AM etc. I just go when I'm tired really but even then I can't always fall asleep and sometimes I wake up after 3 hours and can't continue, sometimes I sleep for 10 hours.

I do work for Dutch companies (so want to be reachable on skype between 2 and 10pm most weekdays) and mostly don't have to strict deadlines so it is ok, as long as I get it done, when I get more work I might try to work into a schedule but in BKK it doesn't really matter when you sleep since you can shop for groceries at Tesco between 9AM and 12PM and it's so near you can just walk, in between I go to Tesco express a lot coz that's ALWAYS open, perfec when you run out of smokes or any other everyday stuff and it's only a little bit further, maybe walk for 7 minutes or so.

When I am sleeping and people need to talk Skype wakes me up and if I'm too late I can call right back NGAAI!

Only going out needs some palnning and things you need to do with thai business and suppliers requires you to daywalk. I have to say I don't really mind not living by regular times everyday and just being able to listen to your body.

I avoid sleep because I feel likee I'm missing out on something.

oh that explains why everytime I get up, I can see decent & long threads written by PeeMarc :lol: Oops

Anyway, my bedtime is about 3-4 AM and I normally wake up at 7.30 AM, sharp

multi-tasking, my dear

besides, I'll sleep a long time when i die.

But, until then...

I will start thinking about going to bed around midnite and I usually go to bed at 1-2am during week days. I supposed to get outta bed at 6.30 but what actually happens is I always late and have my cell alarm for atleast 30 mins everyday.

During weekend, I mostly go to bed after 2-3am. and if I went out drinking I would wake up around 5pm next day...

This is applicable when I'm all alone only tho'

PeeMarc is obviously a ghost member on the forum! :D Dr Sassy seems to have a good dose of internal, or perhaps external, adrenaline! Usually only CEOs of big companies who want to make squillions and take over the world sleep only 4 hrs a night! I'm hoping that Dr Sassy is not with this bunch.....

When working - 1am to 7am. When on hols - usually 3am to 10ish.

BUT environment has an obvious big impact. Eg. When I was in Helsinki and Tallin one summer, I honestly slept about 4 hrs in 5 nights due to the constant sunlight. Going hiking or camping in Australia bush tends to mean an early night 9ish around a campfire followed by a long sleep and crack of dawn awakening. Get out of the big city lights and your sleeping routine changes quickly.

Imagine how early everyone would sleep if there were no internet forums......
