Gunner
Put your bottle of Gin in the freezer and Martini Dry in the fridge. Once chilled mix 4 parts Gin with 1 part Martini in a glass with ice. Shake or stir. Up to you. Pour into a glass with one (or two) olive and if you like a squirt of lemon too. Enjoy... and drink very cold so small glass is better. Keep glass in freezer too for extra chill 8)

OutOfOrder
i love to sip that green martini on it's own... But it's hard to down even half a glass of that bc it's so sweet. I dont like mixing it with vodka cus vodka changes the scent and flavour of the martini. Gin is good bc the smell/flavour is quite neutral. I think i once mixed the green bottle martini with a TINY bit of gin just to booze the alcohol level up a bit... And pour a tiny bit of soda or ginger ale (cant remember) on the top. English_Bob
You can get half price Margaritas and Sangria at Charley Brown's EVERY Tuesday night... It's Ladies' Night. Actually what you are discussing is vermouth. Vermouth is a fortified wine with spices added. The bottle you're talking about is a brand name of vermouth called 'Martini'. Another such brand is Cinzano. Vermouth is used to make a cocktail called a Martini. The Classic Martini contains gin and a little bit of vermouth... Martinis are now made with vodka, gin, sweet vermouth, flavoured liqueuers and a whole bunch of other spirits. My favourite is the Chocolate martini (and I make a mean one)... 2 ounces of Absolut Vanilia vodka, 3/4 ounce of White creme de cacao, 1/4 ounce of simple syrup. Shaken over ice served in a chilled martini glass with a cocoa rim. I also add a Ferrero Rocher on a stick instead of an olive.
