Stramash
While I thank you for your assistance Herr Hobbes, I regret to inform you that none of these avatars can possibly match up to having '*****' as a screen name for an entire football season. I think it may be a case of photoshopping an image from one of the 'less tasteful' pornographic magazines. Here of course you can assist as I am aware that you do have the largest collection of non tasteful porn mags in the western hemisphere... oh, can you not have the 'i' in b*tch?? God the censorship gets worse... completely unconnected but amusing since I hate Man Utd so much and especially Shrek...

I hereby trade my top spot for the look of boyish innocence on the face of the Portuguese Ponce being sent off I heard a whistle so I handled the ball :? Down the tunnel with you boy!! I?d wish Man City an equalizer but I?ve got Evra in my team OK Ireland can score a late hat-trick And I thought Berbatov was injured. He's on my bench and he better not score

Stramash
I heard a beep! I heard a beep!Luckily Anelka's my captain this week The weekend was a question of balance; deciding whether, since a top 10 finish, never mind a top 3 finish, was unlikely, should I be happy watching my beloved Gooners defeat satanic Chelski at Stamford Bridge??? Damn right!!! On the back of a miserable couple of weeks in the league (and the press thank you Mr Gallas) the boys contained the forces of darkness throughout the game, the only black mark an awful Almunia throw out and Djourou own goal. But with no Batman to be seen, it fell to the boy wonder Robin to break a Russian heart with 2 cracking goals, and even inept refereeing that left Chelsea with one more man on the pitch than they should have, couldnt take the shine off a wonderful victory. Still think we have little chance of league, but a defeat today would have seen us slip further down and would have really dented confidence. What about your first goal that was a mile offside? :? wondered which Chelski apologist would be first to answer!!! A mile?? Perhaps a yard, though it could be argued that it clipped a Chelsea defender on way through thus rendering onside. Either way (and remembering your offside goal when you beat us last year) the referee's decision stands; just as his decision to keep John 'the animal' Terry on the field after that two footed lunge, as well as Ivanovic managing to get only 1 yellow card despite 3 very blatant yellow cardable offences. Either way, it was a deserved win; Almunia had only 1 save to make the entire second half!! Without Drogba you struggle against big teams, and he'll be off to join the special one soon enough!! JayB
Liverpool has got to take advantage of Chelsea?s defeat. A Kuyt hat-trick would do nicely too O Captain! My Captain! Rise up and score the goals (My apologies to eagle for using Whitman and not Hemingway)

zeusbheld
pssst. Treborz is not really a chelsk apologist... his real life football allegiances are more like self immolation, a true, true masochist. in my book he counts as a neutral... didn't see the match but i'd trust his opinion over someone who's up the Arse... Treborz
Mile = Yard in football terminology. Anyway my team got dumped out of the FA Cup by a village i'd never heard of before so i'm off to collect my winnings for backing them to lose at 9/

Treborz
Trust me i've backed my team (and lost) at the bookies enough to be allowed to go against them once in a while and after seeing the state of the pitch and the weather conditions prior to kick off there was only one outcome. By the way I'm not really off to collect my winnings as i did it online.

LakeGeneve
Maybe not easy but happy that Arsenel drew Roma. I can see Inter knocking out ManU and would it not be great for Ramos to get some revenge against Liverpool? PS did you read about the FA cup game going for a 3rd reply for a range of bizarre reasons? (have to find the article)

(have to find the article) Chesterfield's abandoned FA Cup second round tie with Droylsden could now be played on 23 December. The Spireites were 2-0 up when the second replay was abandoned due to floodlight failure on Tuesday. The FA has now set a provisional date - subject to test on Droylsden's electrical systems. It will be the fourth attempt to complete a tie previously abandoned due to fog - a subsequent 2-2 draw ended with a controversial goal. In the first replay, Chesterfield's Jack Lester lobbed the keeper from a throw-in after Droylsden had put the ball out of play. The home side then allowed Steve Halford to walk unchallenged into their half to tap the ball in for 2-2. its only pretend teams anyway...
