CiaranM
No one gave Hatton any chance against Kostyzu... Hatton has still never been beaten at his weight... Sometimes the lads cant handle the jump up in weight and i think the power and size difference is going to be to Hattons advantage - just like Hatton against Mayweather, agreed he got a boxing lesson and I think he is a better boxer for it now.. he needed brinign downa peg or two because he had gone stale... No one has mentione Prince Naseem Hamed here? He was flamboyant plenty of KO's and undefeated for a long while but got nailed and never came back, never the greatest of all time but great for a moment.! ill take a bet that Hatton wins by KO - any takes????? don't forget manny fought DLH at welterweight so in theory he's dropping down in weight for this fight .... although i'm guessing hatton will come in the bigger and heavier fighter. if u wanna back hatton to win by a KO u should use one of the online bookies ... i'm sure u'll get pretty decent odds on it !!! beej
That was a killer punch, but come on Hatton wasn't moving, his head was static, fighting a man of Manny's speed standing still was a non starter, back to the put Ricky for a pork pie and a pint of bitter. music
Incredible! Manny is a beast. Ricky forgot to jab his way in and paid for it.

petey
I knew Hatton was outclassed, I just didn't think it would be this bad. Wow!
lizardo
that was a horrible mismatch....yikes....hatton now has a record of 0-2 against quality opposition...

CiaranM
that was a horrible mismatch....yikes....hatton now has a record of 0-2 against quality opposition... and now we know why calazaghe never fought world class boxers in their prime !!! froch looked limited against taylor at SMW ... but in his first defence he went to the US fought a quality boxer and knocked him out !! and as for hatton ..... i thought pacman would KO him, just not quite that soon !! BJ
I didn't think Manny moved much either, most boxers get up on their toes and dance around a bit. Hatton did a bit of dancing and Manny moved in flat footed at times and punched with the most accurate of punch's. The best man won by a country mile and all those British songs Hatton brought with him never worked but the promoters would of been happy. Great to see a lovely guy with little to say winning his way to the Top!
Stramash
Ricky Hatton walks into a library and asks for a book on boxing. The librarian says, ?Try the ground floor?. What's the difference between a GBP20 note and ricky hatton? The GBP20 note will last more than 2 rounds! I wish my wife would go down as easy as ricky hatton. ricky hatton should replace the girl on the speeding adverts. "Hit me at 20mph and there's a 20% I might block it. Hit me at 30mph and I'll be stone cold on the f*cking canvas." After being knocked out for the second time, ricky hatton is on the verge of becoming the first Mancunian to be able to count to ten! Jones Jr would have owned Calzaghe during his prime. Incredible speed, reflexes and power are a deadly combination. Just ask Hatton. Problem with RJJ was that he used those reflexes as his "defense". As he got older, the reflexes went away and he started getting hit a LOT more often.
petey
I finally SAW the Pacquiao vs. Hatton fight. Manny was incredible in this fight. His camp obviously knew that Hatton could not stop a lead right hook and Manny pounded him with it from the opening bell. And the left cross to finish the fight was a thing of beauty. One of the most perfect punches I've seen. I think Mayweather coming out of retirement is a prelude to setting up a Super Bout with him and Manny. Can't wait to see it. :-)
