Best Hip Hop Clubs in Bkk

Hey there,

Since I have been back home for a while now, I wanted to get updated on the clubs. I'm interested in knowing what are the lastest Hip Hop clubs now in Bkk, and are any of the older ones still going strong as well?

I'm talking about good Hip Hop for shaking your ass too, not that gangster **** you can't enjoy dancing too. A nice Latin mix thrown in as well is good.

So let me know whats Hot right now in the Hip Hop Clubs.

I think Bed Supper Club has a hip hop night on Thursdays...might be wrong on the day there.

RCA's Route 66 plays some good hip hop as well.

Yes but not on Tuesday night. My friend was there on that night. She felt badly boring.

So Route 66 is still going strong. Interesting. Yeah I like a bigger place if possible, but then I don't mind a small place if the music is very good.

get out of the FARANG infested clubs and lame ass wanna be good hip hop music

try something new and bigger and more open

if u look u will find something MUCH CHEAPER and better then these watered down overplayed maingstream garbage ones

try rachada seriously

some clubs there are more open and less filled with farang and the music is usually hip hop but they mix in good rap in there too

Inch is ok Zeed is ok and there is a few bigger clubs in that area all on the same block

still like i said above the best places would be a bar with cool ass thai ppl and cheaper drinks, better music and better quality time

i havent been to a club that plays GOOD f*ckin hip hop or rap anywhere in Bangkok

and ive been to as many as i could find - id rather go to a club playin all rock

EscoBar club on Ekkami is great when its live rock bands. And some very hot a*s rich thai girls.

These days all the clubs here seem the same and i hate how each one has the same song playlist.

My advice (club wise) pick a rock club or house/techno/trance whatever if ur into that.

You want great rap/hip hop/ and underground sh*t!!!! NOT THAT MAINSTREAM youtube or radio and V or mtv music overplayed watered down fake a*s music

then try some bars not the clubs!

much cheaper, easier to talk instead of screaming, and the ppl there are usually all thai and very cool and interesting to meet. NOT THEM DIRTY a*s bars..... beware of those and steer far clear.

I love ZEED at rachada if you wanna see the sexiest girls and they are all Thai ive never seen a farang girl or boy there!

Lava - other then being empty the music is better then others

Zeed - and a few others in rachada SOMETIMES will play the good sh*t depending on whos up there

the rest play everything u dont wanna hear and the most annoying songs over and over and over and over and over

if u got enuff cake and wanna hop around from Rachada to Sukimvit to Khao Saan to RCA area to Ekkami

you'll notice that every "wanna b" club has the EXACT PLAYLIST!!!

and these "dj's" who call them self djs but they double click a mouse on a screen? OR insert a mp3 n choose songs

and sream very bad english in a mic n the crowd ACTUALLY digs it?

want some good drinkin spots just msg me and ask i kno some cheap places where u can pick the music if u like

sorry bro im not a 88 kinda guy or slim and i definetly dont like next episode or jump around and not a fan of fatman scoop and ti was ok before he became commercial and fake

i just cant stand listening to the same song OR BEAT over and over etc.

its become a headache and why does every country EXCEPT usa still play those same songs?

in the end what u like is what counts

so im not knocking any clubs out here or anywhere

just guessing that if someone is a true fan then maybe they would like something other then the everyday bowl of remix garbage

mix tapes r great

so is most underground hip hop/rap

the best music wont b played on the radio and that goes for almost all genres from rock to rap to whatever u like

The biggest flaw with route 66, like a few Thai clubs I've been to, they lack any dance floor.I had that complaint from friends visiting Bangkok.They just set up tables all over the place so your only option is getting a table and dancing next to it.Even if you do find a spot, they put so many tables out there, ppl trying are constantly splitting between you all night just to maneuver around the club.

We went to Glow on May 15, lovely_lovely's birthday, and the DJ was playing Hip Hop, it was great though and we did have a great time, so we decided to visit there again to celebrate my birthday on May 22.

Went there and the DJ was playing House :shock:

so we went to Scratch Dog instead :oops:

Yes that is one thing that annoyed me as well. At least when I went to Inch club you could dance upstairs, but the lack of dancing space is annoying.

I usually avoid khao sarn road at all costs, so not good options for me. I never been to slim before.

Is Escudo any good. I remember going there two times, first time the music was horrible, but second time the music was quite good. This a long time ago though. I'm actually looking for a place with some actual dancing room though, not a bunch of tables with people stuck to them. Any more suggestions?

I love u DGTC, GZB is great.. lolz well, Im not a fan of its dance zone tho' but once in awhile I could be in there.

I hate Bushi for being unreasonable, by saying he's avoiding KSR at any cost.. :twisted: Many ppl said so... I said I avoid RCA as I feel so old going there... too many hot chics.. lol

98% of ppl I took to GZB never say they don't like the place... not in the term of Hip Hop place tho' so yeah u should cross GZB out from ur list.
