This lot have some free podcasts. I've downloaded them from itunes but didn't find them very useful.
juddie
To be honest i have never tried this sort of language course. I learnt Thai by going out and talking to people, beer helps a lot especially to get rid of your inhibitions and also drunk people are less likely to want to try to speak english with you. When they are not drunk it's, imo, better than a computer course because a computer can't correct your pronounciation and grammar, whereas a person can. I also recommend buying a Kindergarten "Chicken Book" from 7/11 for 25b to help you learn the letters and therefore learn to read, which will greatly help pronounciation as there are certain sounds that really can't be transliterated. GoodKarma
honestly, it's a hard sell..it looks like a proficient course. but there are so many free resources to learn thai online however they do require you to apply yourself if you really want to learn. just remember how long it took you to go from saying goo goo ga ga to actually speaking a sentence it took practice but like juddie and other members mentioned earlier. It's best to learn by immersion and ask thai friends how to pronounce things they will be more than flattered to oblige. so I suggest you use these free resources and save your money

Neo
I bought almost every learning Thai book and CD available when I started a few years ago. The book that helped me the most was "Thai for Beginners" by Benjawan Poomsan Becker. I recommend getting the CD's too. Goes nicely with "Thai-English English-Thai Dictionary for Non-Thai Speakers" dictionary which uses the same romanisation, and which I still carry everywhere with me. I agree with Neo, if you insist on spending money on Thai learning tools that CD is marvelous and the Thai Dic's that you mentioned are excellent as well.
