First before I get verbally assaulted the multiculturalists apologiers let me say death in it's self especially of young people (in this case mostly men) is never something one wishes for because it's always hoped some others solution can be reached but when it can't or when defense of your-self or others is at question.... you do what you have to. Maybe (although doubtfully so) this will be a deterrent to those engaged in acts of terrorism. If nothign else it's cut off the bloodline and helped to lead to the end one way or another! So spare me the bs leftist propaganda! GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip —  Israeli troops killed a son of Gaza's most powerful leader along with 18 other Palestinians on Tuesday in the bloodiest day of fighting in the coastal area since Hamas militants seized control last summer. As fighting raged in Gaza, a Hamas sniper shot and killed an Ecuadorean volunteer working in the potato fields of an Israeli border farm. That killing, and Tuesday's high death toll, stoked the flames of violence at a time when Israel and Palestinian moderates are making halting attempts to talk peace.• Click here to view photos.Tuesday's bloodshed began before dawn when Israeli infantry, tanks and helicopters pushed into northern Gaza in what the military said was a routine operation aimed at Palestinian militants who launch rocket barrages at Israeli towns near Gaza almost every day.Three Palestinian civilians were killed in the ensuing fighting, along with 14 armed militants — one of them Hussam Zahar, 24, the son of hard-line Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar. The Israelis pulled out Tuesday with no casualties. A later airstrike on militants firing rockets into Israel killed two more Hamas men. As one town had on a bill board on the road into town from the airport "the wages of sin are death" no if's, and, or buts about it!

You do now though, that Hamas was democratically elected by a majority of the Palastenian people to form a government? I know that the US doesn't always take it so terrible serious with free and fair elections even at home but I guess introducing the concept of the 'hanging chads' to prevent Hamas from winning those elections was a bridge to far even for the chaps in DC.

Ohh, and out of interest what was this supposed 'Hamas sniper' using, an AK47 or a Dragunov or perhaps some WII bolt action rifle? Well, someone might have taken some pot-shots and that guy from Ecuador was unfortunately killed but sniping? But talking of foreigners killed evidently and deliberatly by snipers I can think of Thomas Hundall, Iain Hook and James Miller. All killed by IDF snipers. I guess they just gotta go in the 'collateral damage' bag then, Sir?

What's so awesome in actions of an army against militians? Awesome is to stand (and die) with a sub-machine gun against tanks and helicopters.

This conflict is already long enough and a foregner could not judge so easy who is the terrorist or the agressor since both are local, not some mercenary or fanatics. I'm sure they have (or had) their personal stories and reasons.

Was it actually related to the journal topic or just ANOTHER attempt by the poster to draw attention to his webcamming activities???

Well... in brief... Call me stupid but I can't figure out a few topics.

- is the sniper man arrested?

- do the victims have anything to do with the sniper?

- is it sure that the sniper who killed the foreigner is a palestinian after all? And who the hell would plant anything in a hotspot?

- how is called a country that breaks with a millitary force into another country, killing civilians and policeman?

If someone kill my sister (I actually do not have a brother) in an assault like this, I'd fu*king get a sniper too.
