Gosh...I'm such a loser !!!

You all know that I'm a woman with my curve and I love it !! But there are times that I whine about it though I have lost some weight !! But I would be whining about it from time to time and would arrogantly stick my nose up in the air saying I'm proud of who I am and my brain anyway !!

But I made a mistake 2 days ago !!

As when I was leaving for Charley Brown's, my friend stopped me !

'Hey sis, look at this forward mail..this  XXX weight company is looking for XXX people to lose XXX weight, are you in ?'

Of course I was not serious about it !! and I thought they would not get back to me

anyway..by the time that my friend sent the application, there must be 10,000,000 chubby women applied already !!

'Do whatever you want..it sounds interesting..you know my name and where I live..my weight and my hight'

Less than 2 hours ..I got a call from a lady who said she was working for that company !! after asking about my weight..bla bla bla bla then she went to her point...

'Herbalife is the product that we use and trust and with this following program as I'm about to say will help you lose 3-4 kilos in the very first months'

I thought 'Darn !!'

I don't have any problem with Amway, Zulian or Herbalife itself !! I'm all fine with all until 4 years ago...Amway had changed my good friend from a very friendly person to a very business freak person.

From calling just only my name 'Nave' ..or with some polite title like 'I-Nave' or even 'E-Nave'..until one day he came up..wai and called me 'khun Nave'

Back to the lady !! She keeps calling me since that day !! several times each day  !! and I would jump up high with my goosebum and turn to a freak whenever I see an unknown number !! I handed my phone to whoever was nex to me at each moment she called

I love confrontation..bringing up the problem..talk it through..slap, kick, fight..whatever till its all solved but I immediately turn to the world biggest coward when confronting these sales with such a huge persuation in every single thing

I once was pushed to a narrow corner to buy a product which the seller was my student's parent !!!

She just rang again..This time no one was in the office with me..I put my phone in the drawer..covered my ears..hid myself under my desk...Hope that she would have a hint if I was not there to pick up the phone.

I hope though !!!!

I have no patience for pushy sales people. Just tell them to **** off. Sorry... its the only way to get rid of them... and sometimes even that doesnt work.

Best thing to do is ask them to hold and leave them holding till they hang up.

Yes I answer and put the phone down and let them talk to them selves,you can have dinner or what ever.

Some times they rave on for a long time and its nice to know they are enjoying talking to themselves,lol

You smart girl !, hiding under your desk while they calling is good, as they never see if you are around to pick up the phone ring !! and if they ask you later that why you didnt pick up the phone you can tell them that you were not there.. :-D

Do u know what's the quickest way to lose weight? Not Herbalife, Not Amway... Just put down the fork. or spoon if thats matter.

The stuff they sell you is not only unhelpful, some of it is potentially poisonous. The way they make money is what's known as MLM, which is a very dodgy business model one step removed from a pyramid scheme (google MLM and pyramid scheme). in other words, IT IS A SCAM.

don't think it's about your weight or anything, my girlfriend weighs less than my cat and they still try to sell their crap to her. pure and simple, all Herbalife are interested in is separating you--and anyone else they can--from money by any possible means, moral or immoral.

get rid of them by any means necessary including violence. if you get violent, kick their ass in a way you can share with others, and put it on youtube so we can all watch and enjoy.

Having worked in sales for a number of years when I was younger, here's a tip for dealing with pushy reps.

Say "no".

It's the only word you need; don't need say anything else because they're trained to use whatever you say to angle back in for a sale.

but i still being myself even i am one of the amway business and i never ask my friends to buy the products, especially, i hate to bother people to buy things from me, just let them buy it when they want.....that's my policy..... hmmmmm........May I have your no. please and I can call you about Amway? LOL

herbalife is a scam navie ja. don't buy it.

Amway kidnapped my sister and turned her into a freak for a couple of years... she kept trying to recruit me with presentations during my home visits.

I looked at the set up for ten minutes and told her she was wasting her time selling soap and perfume, she should just be trying to get people to sign up as salespeople as that's where the money is. You make next to nothing in commission. You only make REAL money when you have hundreds of people below you in the pyramid.

It took her about two years to realise all the big talk about retiring in five years as a multi millionaire was bullshit.

Finally she came to her senses and now works as a prostitute in Amsterdam.... making pretty good money too.
