  Starbuck's New Instant Coffee?

Via

instant starbucks coffee

Coming to Thailand real soon? Maybe....

probably not tho....

 I thought these guys (Starbuck's) were coffee purest's I guess not...lol $$$

I tried a cup today and it actually didn't taste too bad. You add a pack of Via to a 8 oz cup of hot water producing an instant cup of starbuck's 'Joe'  - CNN articleThe packets will cost $2.95 for books of three or $9.95 for a box of 12, bringing the instant cup to under a buck.

thanks for reading and stopping by. Sorry no beer this time coffee and beer don't mix..if you drink both please don't drive..

hehehehe...

Coolbut enjoy the rest of your day...Sealed

I agree moo noy -- the coffee didn't taste too bad... but when the gal told me how much it would cost per packet... the price was bad :))

yes.. Iain and this instant 'via' stuff makes it official ' they are now officially the fast food of coffee' lol..

always have been GK my friend; and many of their exclamations of ethical practice have been falsehoods. One of the many businesses on my 'never use' list.

but let's have a cold one instead; some nice heather ale on the fridge if you want one! ; )

Iain -- GK wud luv a heather ale toss it on over..I am aware of the news on past jaded affairs of Starbucks -- however I must admit in their infancy they did start out with a pretty efficient business model..

nicky -- you speak my coffee language -- umm good I agree :P

fedor -- that was a funny commercial -- I will have to try it out..lol

While in HKG I found the only way to actually have ANY flavour at all in Sturblanks coffee is to order a triple...then you can just about taste it, but ti's still not very nice...and no...it doesn't keep me awake at all...in fact a nice hot cup of coffee is as likely to put me to sleep as anything else served warm at night in front of the TV...ok, yes except THAT... hehe!

grezzzy greer -- reminds me of when I used to do long auto drives out in the US west a cup of 'joe' and some loud ask Pearl Jam keep my eyes from wide shut..eddie vedder can truly rock!! jeremy spoken in class today :))

Tonia -- it actually didn't taste that bad -- I just thought the price was just like anything else in Starbucks was a bit overrated or high -- ya know the story buy a donut for 25 baht up the street and starbucks 200 baht.. sounds yummy....so would that be thai whiskey or irish whiskey grrrrr :P

shake -- now come on now....their coffee isn't that bad...lol hehehe --thx for replying my man...

breakofdawning -- thai starbucks still has a bit of reminiscence of the infancy days of america starbucks -- back when the product tasted great and was exceptional in recent years it has slid off the cliff..but still satisfactory

Neo -- I prefer itallian lavazza but in the US Starbucks just seemed to be the closest thing to the famous cappuccino

fedor -- really I will have to try out the mellow bird coffee :P

PeterH61 -- Nawh just sharing -- honestly when it comes to instant I like the nescafe stuff.. I had thought the reason why people went to Starbucks in the 1st place was for it's wholesome freshness ya know fresh coffee made on the spot....barrista in all that stuff....lol....not for instant coffee..but I guess the world is changing$$$$ -- take it easy :))
