Mine is Dell inspiron 6000: it's almost 4 years now and it works very well. Never had any problem.

I did not see your JN ,If I saw it I would recommend DELL as I have 2 DELLs at home ,one is very old one (5 years) but work very good .I like the way they designed "case".another one is laptop I dropped it on the floor once ... still work well ...........

I see no reason why people buy notebooks for using at home. It's not practicable compared to a desktop for using at home (instead you need to go out with it on a regular base). It's bad for your back, wrist, hands and so on. In a lot of European countries it's even forbidden by the law to work for your employer more than two hours a day on a laptop!!! Except if you have a spacial notebookstand and a separate keyboard and mouse.

If I think of it, I make a picture of my workplace at the office and show it.

Most of notebooks use in my company are Dell .. but mine is not Dell it more expensive with what i have compare by the specifications, :-)

The last company that I worked for, gave me a Dell laptop and it's great, I quite like the design actually but that's because I like something plain. For my own one, I always have Acer. The 2 latest notebook are Acer's and I love 'em, cheap and reliable.

I'm on my 4th Acer now, they all worked great and customer service in Pantip is good too, get things fixed for free and quickly if there is any probs. I actually broke my charger before when it got between the door, went there to buy a new one but i got it for free. Now that's customer service...
